• Selling a car in the UAE, RTA would require for the registered owner of the car to be physically present at the time of transfer. However, if the registered owner of the car for sale is not available, a POA (Power of attorney) duly notarized by the Court bearing the name of the authorized person would be required to proceed in selling the car and in processing the transfer of ownership.

• The Mulkiya/ registration card is a document issued by RTA that contains the registration details of the car. If you think that disclosing the mulkiya could mean unauthorized transfer of ownership of the car that you are selling..don’t fret! RTA would require the registered owner to be physically present to sign the transfer of ownership before proceeding with the transfer. So yes, it is okay to share the registration card details of the car you are selling. This would verify that the information you have provided in the listing is correct so we can ensure that we proceed in selling the car hassle-free.

• RTA will not allow the transfer of ownership of a car which is under a bank loan. But don’t worry, we got you! In the event that you cannot clear out the bank loan at the time of selling the car, Duozzon can arrange for the settlement of any outstanding balance in your car’s bank loan. The amount of the settlement of the outstanding bank loan will be deducted from the agreed cash price for your car. After the settlement and the clearance of the bank loan and the transfer of the car, whatever the remaining balance in the selling price of your car will be given to you.
